The lock down for me was a huge breath of fresh air. It allowed us to basically pause our lives. My husband and I work at a school together already and so working together wasn’t a huge problem for us. But we now had the opportunity to keep our little pre-schooler home and we saved $900 a month on childcare. Our kids loved spending more time with us and the first 2 months were great as their schools weren’t really requiring very much work at all. Later, my 2nd grader’s school began requiring more work.

It was a huge blessing for us. Yes, it’s been a struggle. Yes we need time apart for our sanity lol. Yes the kids need time apart too sometimes. But I’m proud to say that we are stronger and healthier in our marriage because we’ve been able to walk through such an insane year together and are still best friends.
